Autumn Get-Together

The days of garden parties and afternoon BBQs that stretch into the summer’s long, warm evenings may be over for this year but fear not, there are plenty of opportunities to host the perfect Autumn get-together with Halloween and Bonfire night right around the corner.

And who says kids should have all the fun? We’ve put together some tips for creating a stylish and inviting venue to host your (adults only) Halloween and Bonfire celebrations. You’ll make your neighbours shriek with envy!

Get grilling

The smell of bangers, burgers and delicious fried onions is synonymous with most organised fireworks events, so why not create the same nostalgic feeling at your own party? But we’re not talking any old hot dogs. Think sweet, caramelised onions, tangy cheese, smoky relish or infused mustard. And if you’re going all out, Autumn is the perfect time to cook up a warming pot of spicy chilli on your Breeze House grill. And hell to it…why not slather your homemade chilli on top of your banger to make the ultimate indulgent chilli dog.

To bring the sophistication to the party why not try a grilled camembert fondue with chunky buttered bread wedges for dipping? Delicious!

Tempting treats and tipples

Forget the tricks…we want treats like sickly s’mores, sticky toffee cake, pumpkin chocolate chip bread and toffee apple bread and butter pudding – your party guests will be as full as a pumpkin afterwards.

And to really impress at your party you’ll want to serve up some seasonal drinks too. A warm apple cider served in a large witch’s cauldron in the centre of your Breeze House table for guests to help themselves to, or a cinnamon latte to accompany your spectacular fireworks show. They’re the perfect addition to an alfresco party in the cooler seasons to warm everyone up.

Halloween-chic

There’s a very fine line between chic and kitschy when it comes to Halloween, but the right decorations can help you create a boo-tiful theme for your Breeze House. From perfectly placed pumpkins to carefully crafted cobwebs and even the addition of some surprisingly spooky Spanish moss.

We’ve taken an eerie but elevated approach to this year’s All Hallows’ Eve styling. The contrasting palette of muted brown, black and beige shades is grown up and relaxing, whilst the copious candles ensure an atmospheric and enchanting Halloween soiree – your guests will feel relaxed in outdoor luxury. A far cry from the expected garish clash of oranges, greens, purples and blacks we expect to see at this time of year!

Light it up

With natural light in increasingly short supply at this time of year you’ll want to look at creating a warm and cosy glow for your Autumn gathering. We’re loving spiced candles dotted around your Breeze House or twinkling fairy lights.

And no bonfire night is complete without a fire to gather around. If you don’t have an outdoor space large enough to construct a large bonfire, fire pits are a great alternative.

Celebrate with fire in the sky

Just because we have said goodbye to summer, it doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to garden parties! So, pour yourself a glass of warm apple cider, grab your chilli dog and sit back, relax and enjoy the fire in the sky with friends and family from the comfort of your beautifully lit Breeze House
