Sustainable Redwood, with high tensile strength and durability is ideal for all types of outdoor construction, both commercial and domestic. It is our choice for Breeze House construction and, when treated, can last for more than 30 years.
All of our Breeze Houses are handcrafted from extremely tough and robust sustainable Redwood, perfect for creating strong and durable constructions.
Using specially selected timbers, highly regarded for their long-lasting properties, we’re able to provide buildings which retain symmetry, style and an overall impressive aesthetic; plus, the timber that we select has the added benefit of aging extremely well.
We’re so confident in our sustainable Redwood that we offer a 30 year guarantee against rot and decay, so you can relax in the knowledge that we’re just as invested in your purchase as you are.

Traditional Thatch:
South African Cape Reed has been specially selected for our thatch roofing; with a life expectancy of 6-10 years, this traditional African-inspired roofing is the perfect option when looking for a long-lasting yet unique-looking finish for your Breeze House. This type of roofing will naturally age and change colour over time and will eventually have a grey-like appearance, reminiscent of the traditional African roofing that you’re likely to see in sunny Africa climes.
Combination Thatch:
The combination thatch tile consists of a layer of imitation thatch with the natural Cape Reed underneath. This artificial layer of thatch protects the natural reed from the elements, reducing colour changes and deterioration, giving this roof a longer life expectancy.

Canadian Forest cedar has many natural traits, including its own natural oil preservatives which make it resistant to rot and decay; these oils also act as a mild pesticide and are an excellent deterrent to insects which may cause damage to the wood. These naturally occurring traits are just some of the reasons why we believe Canadian Forest Cedar is the superior choice for outdoor cladding; with its low rate of heat absorption for a cool touch even during summer months and its visually impressive finish, it’s no surprise that it remains an incredibly popular choice of roofing.
Our outstanding Canadian Forest cedar is tapered and cut to size by our skilled craftsmen to provide a stunning, seamless finish on our circular roofs; the shingles are mounted onto vertical laths allowing the cedar to breathe naturally and are then attached to a membrane board for further insulation and protection. There is the option of standard marine ply membrane, or an external weatherboard with a specialist Hi-Lite TeknosTM paint finish – a great way of highlighting the ceiling and providing a more contemporary look. We guarantee our cedar shingle roof for 30 years against rot and decay.

The newest addition to our roofing options has the traditional appearance of slate but is light enough to sit on your Breeze House, adding a contemporary look to our collection. Our slate effect tiles also have the added benefit of of being able to withstand much more exposure to harsher elements than natural slate.
With a 40 year guarantee, you can experience the combination of the beauty of traditional slate and durability-enhancing technology, safe in the knowledge that your slate effect roofing will stand the test of time.
