Rainy day activities in your Breeze House
We may have been lucky of late with some beautiful Spring sunshine, but as can be expected at this time of year, we’ve had our fair share of gloomy days too. So how can you make the most of your Breeze House with the family when it’s raining? Here are a few rainy day activities you might want to try!
Just because it’s raining, it doesn’t mean your garden doesn’t look just as beautiful. In fact, the rain can make those flowers, grass and plants look even more lush and bursting with colour, so get your warm clothes on, grab a load of paper and pencils and get sketching! The kids will love the adventurous feel of playing outside, even in gloomy weather, and it’s a relaxing activity for you all to enjoy.
Grab some tasty treats:
Who says you can’t enjoy a picnic in the rain? Pile up a mug of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, make some warming soups and crusty rolls or just some simple sandwiches and eat them outside! Rain can be a real treat for the senses, as it looks and sounds so peaceful. Adding a tasty picnic will only enhance the experience.
A splash of wet weather really does bring out the most wonderful wildlife. So get those wellies on and go hunting around the garden for unusual bugs, slugs and other wildlife you might not notice during warm, dry weather. And don’t forget to all meet back at your Breeze House to share your findings!
Kids or no kids, thanks to the sheltering nature of the Breeze House, you can relax under the roof whatever the weather. So wrap up, sit back and relax with your favourite book and a cuppa. It’s amazing how calming the rain can be after a hectic day.
The wonderful thing about a Breeze House is that its African inspiration means that it’s designed to keep you safe and sheltered from the blazing sun in summer time, but also cosy and protected from the rain too! So whatever the weather, you can make the most of your garden centrepiece.
