What is the difference between the circular and oval Breeze Houses?

The traditional circular Breeze House buildings feature one seating area, whereas the Oval Leisure range buildings feature twin areas for lounging and dining. Over the years, our Oval Leisure range of Breeze Houses have also been used to house kitchens, gymnasiums and swim spas.

Is installation and delivery included in the cost of a Breeze House?

Yes for Mainland UK, however a charge may apply for international installations and deliveries.

Do I need to order optional extras such as chairs and heaters at the same time as ordering the building?

It is advisable to order optional extras at the time of ordering the building, as a delivery charge is not applied. However, optional extras can be ordered at a later date with a small delivery charge.

What options do I have for the base?

Any level, hardstanding area can be used; this could be a concrete pad, decking or existing patio. Please contact us to request a copy of our base specifications.

Can our building be moved once installed?

Yes – we offer a relocation and refurbishment service. Please contact us for more information.

Will rain or snow damage the wood, should I protect the building during autumn/winter?

The canvas panels protect the building during any bad weather such as rain or snow. We will also provide you with maintenance tips and care instructions for your Breeze House.

Is it typical for the thatch to change colour?

Standard thatch will change colour to a grey/brown colour within 12 months of installation. Our combination thatch option includes an artificial layer of thatch to retain its golden colour.

What options do I have for re-roofing?

Thatch tiles, combination thatch tiles and cedar shingle are all great re-roofing options. Please contact us and we’ll be happy to explain the different options. We also offer a re-roofing and refurbishment service that you may wish to take advantage of.

How long should I expect the thatch to last before re-thatching is required?

Standard thatch lasts approximately 6-10 years and combination thatch lasts approximately 8-12 years. However, other factors such as weather and the positioning of the building in the garden may have an impact. Please contact us to speak to one of our experienced team and to find out more.

How often do I need to treat the building?

We ask that you treat the building 12 months after installation and every 3 years after that. Maintaining your building is simple and we will provide you with all of the necessary information.

Can heaters be fitted to the building?

We supply 3KW and 6KW adjustable heaters as an option for your chosen building. Our team can fit the heaters whilst installing your Breeze House.
