Apple Prosecco Punch
We can hold out our hopes that the two bank holiday weekends this month are going to provide excellent weather for having friends over and getting merry on this grown-up punch.
Ingredients
400ml cloudy apple juice
200ml vodka
Juice of 2 lemons
750ml Prosecco
Ice
1 green apple, cored and finely sliced
1 lemon, sliced
Method
- Pour the apple juice, vodka and lemon juice into a punch bowl and chill for 1-2 hours.
- When you’re ready to serve add the Prosecco, ice and apple and lemon slices to garnish.
Top tip
To impress, try with a sharp knife to ‘skin’ the lemon, so you’re left with strips of zest. Score the fleshy underside and twist into a spiral for a classy garnish.
