Our buildings and umbrella kits are thatched using Thatchbor Thatch tiles which are a natural product made from South African Cape reed. The thatch tiles can be fixed onto existing roof structures, they are also available as a DIY product and are ideal for theming your existing structures with Breeze Houses and the umbrella kits, bringing a whole new look to your outside space or can even be used indoors to create a thatched bar area.

The thatch tiles have the added benefit that they are treated with Thatchbor fire retardant achieving a BS476:Part 7 Class 2Y for fire retardancy as well as providing fungicide and preservative qualities.

The tiles are pre-fabricated and created around a do-it-yourself idea and therefore make construction a simple procedure. The tiles can be clipped onto an 8mm diameter steel rod, rope or nailed onto a wooden batten.
