The company is committed to minimisation of environmental damage caused by the day to day running of the business and the securing of raw materials, production, packaging and disposal of its product range.
The company encourages all of its suppliers to have their own environmental policy. This should be backed by evidence to show that efforts are being made to have it positively implemented within their company.

The company purchasing policy in regard to timber insists that all timbers are purchased from recognized forestry companies who exceed all necessary planting requirements.
The company purchasing policy in relation to Cape Reed insists that all Cape Reed is harvested from replenishable, renewable resources.
The company is committed to sourcing thatch from a South African company which provides jobs, housing and recreational facilities for over 300 employees.
The company is committed to using only European softwoods in the manufacture of its gazebos of which a minimum of 70% are FSC softwoods.
The company is a member of the Forest Stewardship council certification number SGS-COC-1314. ‘The FSC logo identifies product which contains wood from well (or ‘responsibly’) managed forests independently certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council A.C.’
